Leading LGBT charity Stonewall praises Emmerdale for Aaron Dingle's prison homophobia story
- Aaron initially felt safest concealing his sexuality, despite this killing him inside but when Jason clocked a close moment between Aaron and his visiting husband Robert Sugden, things turned nasty and Aaron was ganged up on. Aaron stood up to vicious Jason as he was hit with evil slurs and terrifying threats and the situation is destined to get worse as Aaron faces violent beatings which result in him suffering panic attacks.
