The Rise of LGBT Athletes in Sports
 - Back in late 2009 Welsh rugby player Gareth Thomas publicly admitted that he was gay. Whilst the rest of the country was taken aback by his revelation, both his team mates and family were supportive. Fast forward to 2013, when English diver Tom Daley announced on YouTube that he was in a relationship with a guy, both his friends, family and fellow diver Chris Mears were supportive. Only last year, English rugby player Keegan Hirst revealed, after years of struggling with his sexuality, that he was gay.
